আপনার আমার এই টিউটোরিয়ালটি পড়ছেন অনেকেই। একটু লক্ষ্য করুন প্রথম পাতার দিকে। ওখানে কি আমার এই পোষ্টের সম্পূর্ণ অংশ দেখা যায়? যায় না, দেখা যায় মাত্র টিউনের কিছু অংশ। পুরো টিউন পড়তে হলে আপনাকে করতে হবে টিউনের শিরোনামে ক্লিক, তাই না? এটিই হল পোষ্ট সংক্ষিপ্তকরণ। এবার আপনি আপনার ব্লগে একটি টিউন করুন, দেখবেন টিউনটি আপনার ব্লগের প্রথম পাতায় সম্পূর্ণ আকারে দেখা যাচ্ছে। তাই এখন এটিকে প্রথম পাতা সংক্ষিপ্ত করা দরকার, কি বলেন, ঠিক না? জ্বী, ঠিক। তাহলে আপনি চলে যান আপনার ব্লগের ড্যাসবোর্ডে। এবার বামপাশের প্যানেল থেকে Appearance >>> Theme Options এ যান। নিচের দিকে দেখুন একটি অপশ আছে Display Full Post Or Excerpt. এখান আছে আরও দুটি অপশন যেখানে রয়েছে Full Post ও Excerpt. আপনি যদি Full Post নির্বাচন করেন তাহলে আপনার পোষ্টটি প্রথম পাতায় সম্পূর্ণ আকারে দেখাবে। আর যদি আপনি Excerpt নির্বাচন করেন তাহলে আপনার ব্লগের প্রথম পাতায় পোষ্টটি সংক্ষিপ্ত আকারে দেখাবে।
থিমের অপশন পরিবর্তন
থিমের বিভিন্ন অপশন পরিবর্তনের জন্য আপনি প্রথমে Appearance >>> Theme Options এ যান। এবার দেখুন….
• Default Layout >>> আপনার থিমটি দেখতে কি রকম হবে তা নির্বাচন করুন। এখানে ৩-৪টি লেআউট আছে। আপনার যেটি পচন্দ সেটি নির্বাচন করুন।
• Layout Width >>> আপনার ব্লগটি আপনার ব্লগ ভিজিটরের কাছে কেমন হবে তা এখান থেকে নির্বাচন করুন। এখান থেকে যদি আপনি Fixed নির্বাচন করেন, তাহলে আপনার ব্লগটি ভিজিটরে কম্পিউটারের মাপেই দেখাবে। আর যদি Width নির্বাচন করেন তাহলে আপনি যে সাইজ দিবেন সে অনুসারে ভিজিটরের কম্পিউটারে দেখাবে।
ব্লগ শিরোনাম ও ব্লগের হেডারে ছবি যোগ করা
প্রত্যেকটি ব্লগের একটি করে শিরোনাম বা টাইটেল থাকে যেমন- আমাদের এই সাইটের শিরোনাম হল “টিউনার পেইজ”। এই শিরোনামের সাথের আরেকটি অংশ হল সাইটটি কিসের উপর তার এক লাইনের বর্ণনা। যেমন- টিউনার পেইজের ছোট্ট বর্ণনাটি হল “The Ultimate Path of The Bangla Technology”। তাই আপনার ব্লগেরও এমনি একটি শিরোনাম দিতে হবে। তবে শিরোনাম বাছাইয়ের ক্ষেত্রে চিন্তা করবেন আপনি কি ধরনের ব্লগ দিচ্ছেন সে হিসেবে ব্লগের নাম নির্বাচন করুন। যেমন- আমি একটি ছোট্ট ব্লগ তৈরি করেছিলাম, এটির লিংক ছিল- এর শিরোনাম ছিল “সর্বশেষ প্রযুক্তি টুইট”, এর সাব টাইটেল ছিল “প্রযুক্তির সর্বশেষ আপডেটসহ সকল ধরনের খবরের কেন্দ্রবিন্দু”। তাই আপনাকে এমন ভাবে আপনার ব্লগের শিরোনাম দিতে হবে যাতে ভিজিটররা আপনার সাইটের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয়।
এখন আপনার সাইটের নাম ও সাবটাইটেল দেয়ার জন্য আপনার ড্যাসবোর্ডে যান। এবার বামপাশের প্যানেল থেকে Settings >>> General এ যান। এবার এখান থেকে Site Title এ আপনার ব্লগের নাম দিন ও Tagline এ আপনার ব্লগটি কিসের তার উপর ভিত্তি করে একটি ট্যাগ লাইন দিন। এবার আপনার ব্লগের একটি আইকন নির্বাচন করুন। এবার ব্লগের আইকন দিতে এই পাতার ডান পাশে দেখবেন একটি ইমেজ বক্স আছে। এখান থেকে আপনার ব্লগের আইকন আপলোড করুন। তাহলেই আইকন সেট হয়ে যাবে।
এবার আসুন আপনার ব্লগের হেডারের ছবি যোগ করা। আপনি যদি আপনার ব্লগের জন্য একটি হেডার বা ছবি দিতে চান তাহলে Appearance >>> Header এ যান। আপনি এখান থেকে আপনার ব্লগের জন্য একটি ছবি যোগ, ব্লগের টাইটেলের রং পরিবর্তন ও ইচ্ছা করলে নাম সরিয়ে ফেলার কাজ করতে পারবেন।
প্রথমে আসুন হেডারে ছবি যোগ করি। আপনি আপনার হেডারের জন্য একটি ছবি নির্বাচন করুন, যার সাইজ হবে ৯৮০*১৪৮ পিক্সেল। এবার Upload Image থেকে আপনার আপনার ছবি আপলোড করুন। তবে আপনি ইচ্ছা করলে অনেকগুলো আপলোড করে হেডার ইমেজকে Random করে দিতে পারেন। তাহলে আপনার হেডার ইমেজ কিছুক্ষণ পরপর পরিবর্তন হবে। তবে আপনি ইচ্ছা করলে হেডার ইমেজ বাদ দিতে পারন। এজন্য Remove Header Image এ ক্লিক করুন।
এবার আসুন আপনার ব্লগের শিরোনামের রং পরিবর্তনে। আপনি যদি আপনার ব্লগ শিরোনামের রং পরিবর্তন করতে চান তাহলে একাই পাতার নিচের দিকে দেখুন Text Color আছে। এবার Select a Color এ আপনার পচন্দের রং নির্বাচন করুন। উপরে Preview তে দেখতে পাবেন আপনার রংয়ের পরিবর্তন। আর আপনি যদি আপনার ব্লগের নাম দেখাতে না চান, তাহলে Display Text >>> No নির্বাচন করুন, শিরোনাম ব্লগে দেখাতে Yes নির্বাচন করুন। সবকিছু পরিবর্তন করার পর অবশ্যই সেভ করবেন। এজন্য নিচের Save Changes বাটনে ক্লিক করুন।
